Senior Data & AI Automation Engineer
Make systems talk, make data trustworthy and make automation useful. You own integration projects end to end, from the technical design to the conversation with the customer.
About the role
You will not simply receive technical tickets. You understand the customer's challenge, design the solution, build it and take responsibility for the result. You translate customer requirements into a clear technical design: which systems, which data models, which mappings. You build and maintain workflows between HubSpot and systems such as ERPs, financial tools, ATS platforms and custom applications, and you keep them reliable when APIs fail, data arrives twice or fields change. You think carefully about objects, fields, relationships and identifiers before you build, so the CRM stays useful for sales, marketing and operations. You also explore where AI genuinely improves workflows, rather than AI for its own sake. This is a senior position: you stay hands-on, review solutions, document decisions and help less experienced engineers develop.

What we offer
Responsibilities
- Own integration projects from first requirement to working solution in production
- Build and maintain workflows in n8n between HubSpot and ERP, financial, ATS, marketing and custom systems
- Write Python, SQL or JavaScript for custom logic that standard automation cannot handle
- Work with REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks and authentication methods
- Design data flows that handle failing APIs, duplicate data, changing fields and incomplete input
- Run data migrations into HubSpot: mapping, cleaning and validation
- Improve CRM data quality: duplicate prevention, relationships and error handling
- Talk directly with international customers about their needs and your technical decisions
- Explore where AI genuinely improves workflows and customer processes
- Review solutions and help less experienced engineers grow
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL and JavaScript
- At least 5 years of professional experience in integration, automation or backend development, with Git and modern development workflows
- Hands-on experience with n8n or a comparable workflow automation platform
- Experience with HubSpot or another CRM platform such as Salesforce or Pipedrive
- Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks and authentication methods
- Strong understanding of CRM data models, objects, fields and relationships
- Experience migrating, cleaning, mapping and validating data
- The ability to design integrations that are reliable, maintainable and safe to rerun
- Confidence in one-to-one conversations with international customers, including respectfully challenging an unrealistic solution
- English at C1 level is a hard requirement, and you must currently live in Kosovo

Working model
Hybrid, 40 hours per week. You work one or two days per week from the tre plus office in Pristina and the rest remote. General working hours are roughly 09:00 to 17:00, with some flexibility. The recruitment process is an introductory interview with tre plus, an interview with the client, a practical technical case with a live discussion, and final alignment and offer. The case focuses on how you structure integrations, make unreliable data trustworthy and explain technical decisions. Using AI tools is allowed, but you must understand and be able to explain or change everything you submit.
