Shopify Specialist
About the role
In this role the focus is on building, configuring and technically managing Shopify stores. You connect apps and external systems, solve technical questions and take on smaller development tasks where needed. You do not have to be a full-time software developer. We are looking for someone who knows Shopify inside out, is technically strong and has enough development knowledge to handle theme changes, technical issues and integrations independently.

Our client is an e-commerce agency in the Netherlands, specialised in PrestaShop, Shopify and custom integrations. The team works on varied projects for national and international e-commerce clients, from store builds and theme work to connections with ERP, PIM and fulfilment systems.
You join a close-knit team of e-commerce and technical specialists, with room for your own input, development and growth.
What we offer
Responsibilities
- Build, configure and technically manage Shopify stores
- Customise and set up Shopify themes based on client requirements
- Connect apps, payment solutions and external systems to Shopify
- Contribute to custom integrations with ERP, PIM, fulfilment and other e-commerce systems
- Work with Shopify APIs and webhooks
- Investigate and solve technical issues
- Make smaller changes in Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Support and advise clients on their Shopify environment
- Work together with the team on projects for national and international e-commerce clients
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience building, configuring and managing Shopify stores
- Experience with Shopify apps, integrations and external connections
- Knowledge of Shopify Liquid
- Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0, themes, sections, blocks and templates
- Basic knowledge of APIs, webhooks and data exchange between systems
- Affinity with e-commerce and technical integrations
- An independent, solution-oriented and precise way of working
- English at C1 level or higher, both spoken and written
Nice to have
- Experience with the Shopify Admin API or GraphQL API
- Experience with Git, Shopify CLI or comparable development tools
Working model
Hybrid, 20-24 hours per week to start, with a clear path toward a full-time position. Working hours are between 09:00 and 17:30 (flexible). You work remote with the option to work from our office in Pristina, in close collaboration with the Dutch e-commerce and technical team.
